Job description

Responsibilities

Product vision and strategy
Work closely with the Director of Product to ensure product strategy is defined and executed.
Define and own product/feature roadmap.
Own & lead prioritisation of product/feature backlog.
Communicate product roadmap and feature releases internally.
Research, feedback and evaluation
Understand marketplace, competitor offering, business trends and user requirements through a variety of research methods.
Define and track product success criteria.
Produce regular reports to share insights on the above items.
Define and own user personas.
Feature definition & delivery
Create feature specifications, prototypes, wireframes and other documentation required for the Technical team that outlines feature requirements.
Work closely with developers that are building features to ensure features are delivered to spec.
Outline customer facing release notes when required.
Create external and internal help documentation.
Help resolve product related issues.
Onboarding
Owns internal & external comms strategy to communicate product changes.
Work with Product Designer to create customer facing product collateral for the Commercial team, such as user guides & product specification sheets.
Create ad-hoc external comms to promote product (such as blog posts).
Demo the product to clients and prospects when required.

Job requirements

Required/desired skills & experience

Creative mindset, but also a stronger analytical thinker.
Able to analyse data and determine trends.
Thinks outside of the box - able to create ideas and solutions.
A very strong and clear communicator, with a variety of stakeholders at different levels of seniority and knowledge.
Excellent documentation skills.
Passion for gadgets/technology (a bit of a geek!).
A strong understanding of SAAS products.
Previous Product Management experience desired.
Design/UX skills desired.
B2B product and/or Financial Services business experience desired.
Experience of creating websites/blogs desired.
