JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Senior HKDSE Counselor
Department: Head Office
Reports to: General Director, Asia-Pacific Office, Orange County International Education Development (OCIED)
Location: Working at home, but accept business trip to Beijing, Shenzhen or other cities in China when needed.
Company: Beijing OCAHS International Academy Inc.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE:
Part-time or half full-time (No office hours. Compensation is negotiable and can be structured as either a package or monthly salary based on market rates)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide expert guidance and consultation for the HKDSE program at OCAHS International Academy.
- Represent the academy in HKDSE promotional campaigns, delivering speeches and presentations on behalf of the school.
- Foster partnerships and liaise with high schools and universities in Hong Kong.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- A strong academic background from a renowned university in Hong Kong.
- Extensive professional experience in the education sector, particularly in Hong Kong.
- Experience in high school education or within educational authorities is preferred.
- Proficiency in both Mandarin and Cantonese is essential.
- Established connections with high schools or universities in Hong Kong.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
- Results-driven with a business-oriented mindset.
- Exceptional interpersonal and public speaking skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the HKDSE program and the Hong Kong higher education system.
- Previous experience in admissions or college counseling is highly desirable.
- Proficient in using Windows-based systems, internet, and email; strong typing skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Demonstrates adaptability, initiative, and flexibility, particularly within a Chinese working environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong grammar and punctuation.
- High level of integrity, sound judgment, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in organizing, planning, and problem-solving.
- Reliability and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Skilled in information gathering and data management (particularly student and college records).
