On a day to day basis, the SDET will be involved in the product design process from its early stages, create both test plans and cases, develop automated tests and work with the developers to understand the architecture.
The primary language used by the Engineering team is Java, although they take a holistic approach to development, so you'll get exposure to other languages such as Python, C++ and Kotlin.
Skills needed of the SDET:
Strong computer science fundamentals with coding skills in Java algorithms.
Strong API and backend testing skills.
Experience with multithreading, latency, FX or Finance.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
