Some key responsibilities include:
Full ownership of central demand forecasting model (excel based)
Full ownership of stock planning models (excel based) which includes both finished goods stock and componentry.
Responsible for over 100 SKUs across the active and sports range and 6 different languages
Working closely with the operations team on planning for deliveries and collections of finished products and componentry
Working with the NPD team on new products
Purchase order processing – including raising PO’s and booking goods on the NAV ERP system.
Managing shelf life of stock in each warehouse
Managing the overall stock holding
The Successful Applicant
The successful Demand Planner will have strong knowledge of FMCG as well as experience in the following areas:
The ability to help manage complex projects under tight schedules
Logical and systematic with a dynamic approach
The ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as think laterally and offer solutions
Solid understanding of the demand planning process
Good analytical skills
Commercial mindset
Excellent communication skills & highly numerate
Strong IT skills and quick to learn new systems
Heavily excel based so experience on excel will be essential – Advanced level and capable of complex data analysis
Experience with Microsoft NAV dynamics is desired but not essential
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Demand Planning using ERP/MRP, preferably from a food/FMCG environment
