You will be responsible for:
Looking after 2 small or one large projects (commercial, care homes or new build housing)
Submitting and negotiating valuations
Reporting straight into to the Commercial director
Submitting and negotiating final accounts
Managing junior members of Commercial staff
Take accurate site measurements
Attending progress meetings with the construction directors
Office based role with site visits
Contract Administration
Drafting contract programs
Generating detailed monthly project P&L reports
Ordering and negotiating materials and plant
Multi Trade Take Offs
Submitting subcontract / main contract tenders
Key Skills
The post holder is required to have developed a working knowledge of Information Technology commensurate with fulfilling the requirements of the role.
Knowledgeable on standard industry trade and build specification.
Ability to facilitate meetings effectively e.g. Chair pre-start meeting with selected subcontractors, Contracts Manager and Site Manager to emphasise our requirements prior to placing subcontract.
Be completely familiar with all National and Regional materials / purchasing agreements.
